Comet made motorcycles in Italy from 1953 to 1957, which had a good reputation for quality but were considered expensive. Models included a 173cc single OHV as well as 173cc and 246cc twin overhead-cam vertical. Alfonso Drusiani was the designer and manufacturer. Source
