1973 - 1976
Baldi was founded in 1973 in the San Remo area. The first model had the delightful name of Baldi Frog, this italian microcar was as aesthetically unpleasing as its name suggested. It used Fiat 500 mechanicals and a tall estate-type plastic body. As an alternative to the Fiat 2-cylinder rear-mounted engine, a 125cc or 302cc engines were also offered. Baldi's other model was the Sahara 4, a Renault 4-based plastic-bodied leisure vehicle that closely resembled the Renault Rodeo.
