Stucchi was founded by the engineer Luigi Prinetti, a politician of the newly united Italy (he was also Minister of Public Works), along with the Stucchi brothers in 1875. The factory for bicycling as they affect to bicycles, to tandem, quad-cycles then and motorized tri-cycles, with one of them was a light racer designed by Ettore Bugatti. By the end of the nineteenth century already more than 7000 vehicles per year were leaving from its plants in Milan, in Via Tortona.
