Revision as of 08:54, 7 July 2009
In the 1960 to 1963 the company "Northeast Engineering Co.", which in Turin under "Intermeccanica", produced about 20 coupés. The distribution company "Intermeccanica-Puch" (Italy/Austria) received the brand name IMP. IMP was outwardly very much a Fiat Abarth lookalike but was built on the body platform of the Steyr-Puch, a small structure that had a two-cylinder rear engine with either 500cc or 650cc. In 1963, the production of Frank Reisner's "Intermeccanica" was abandoned.
