The Fiat Brevetti is a new model, presented by the Italian Fiat in 1905, following the company racaht Ansaldi the same year.
Earlier this year, F.I.A.T. bought its competitor Milanese Ansaldi. Taking up a model at the stage of its introduction, Fiat launched the Fiat 10-12 HP Ansaldi. This new car will be renamed Fiat Brevetti in 1906, it will be manufactured until 1912 in its second series, Brevetti 2.
It will innovate in the technical field by imposing the world premiere, a chassis, but not right and a preformed shaft equipped with "universal" certificate from the famous Italian engineer Cardano, and a differential with conical torque.
Equipped with a 3052 cm3 engine developing 20 hp, she opened the forced lubrication.
In 1909, Fiat introduced a car derived from the patents and baptized 15-25 HP also known as Brevetti 2. She enjoyed the same basic mechanics with an engine to 25 hp.
Both versions would be manufactured at the plant in Corso Dante.
