Benotto
1947 - 1957
Benotto was a bicycle manufacturer that began motorcycle production in 1953 and the Tavan Master moped line. In 1954 the list was the Dragon 150 model two-stroke, and a three speed transmission, capable of reaching 95 km/h. The Condor had a 100 cc, two stroke engine, and a two speed transmission, capable of 70 km/h. The Master 50, had a two-stroke engine, single-stroke, which could reach 55 km/h, but with transmission roller grip would reach the 45 km/h area.
In 1955, they still produced the Master, using Jlo two gear engines, and the Mastino Jlo single-engines, both with a chain driven transmission. They also constructed several mopeds: the Vulture 125 cc, two stroke with three gears and the Centaur Gran Sport, with a two-stroke engine, 160 cc and the upgrade to a four-speed transmission. The company closed its doors in 1957.
